A novel method to determinate the power of the Bora via clanfa tuff schizz deflection

Background: The Bora, one of the peculiar casins generator of the city of Triest, is a well-known issue. Unfortunately, due to an asburgic inheritance, the Triestins seems not to be able to quantify exactly the power of the Bora, confounding the terms “hurricane” and “cyclon” with “ogi sufia un fiatìn” and “go dovèsto serar i scuri che sbateva”. It is known that this is related to an imbalance in the noradrenergic circuitry of basal ganglia and in dorsolaterial and ventrolateral refrontal cortex (i.e. i xe fora coi copi). Despite the highly scientific Manna scale based on various varianting variables can measure visually the power of the Bora, not any ISO scale has been still validated.
Result: Through a replicabile (ma solo se un xe cofe) experiment conduced at LittleRats we were able to detect, by estimating the shape of the schizzes of a particular endemic behaviour in which Triestins are eccellents (the clanfa tuff), the exact power of the Bora, expressed in m2 rad-1.
Conclusions: (singing, on the aria of La strada ferata) .. e adesso che gavemo la scala più esàta, la Bora in Sachèta mai più mancherà.

Each year, the wide diffused triestin journal The Little, not having other to write, pull out the same old story that during the winter the Bora suffs and the snow jazz the noses. Even this year the faccend repeats again (cfr. http://ilpiccolo.gelocal.it/cronaca/2012/02/01/news/maltempo-neve-ebora-sopra-i-100-km-orari-1.3131460). Obviously this is done just to make insempiate people (as Carpinteri & Faraguna cleverly used to say in The little city) as all the framework is well established in literature  where, which, who, when and all other monads about the question are discussed.
The only open question is provided by the lack of a validated measuring scale which could assess exactly the power of the Bora suffing. In fact, it has been argued to be not reliable the announce that the Julian Gàzzetin makes every day at 12.35 a.m. (..vento: 85 chilometri all’ora da est nord est, bora, con raffiche sino a 135 chilometri all’ora..) because we do not believe that anyone is so zurlo to put himself in running so fast from ENE to WSW at that velocity in order not to sent drio the ears gnanc one fil de wind.
In  the highly scientific Manna scale based on various varianting variables is discussed.
Despite its clever formulation the scale do not measure the exact power of the Bora, giving only an indirect estimate by visual cuc. In this short communication, we provide a viable answer to the issue.
Materials and methods
We recruited the famous furlan actor Louis Thornlets which partecipated to the unforgettable (and removed, azz!, like megavideo, ciò) The Clanfa video  (Video zo in fond), and asked him to present today at 12.00
a.m. at the LittleRats shore, here:
We ask him to perform, for the last time, his memorable battle horse: the panzada tuff. We put a digital webcam recording under a cocal and, exactly when the actor Thornlets tuff himself into the jazzad water, we leave the cocal making it svoling over the actor Thornlets, photographing the schizz on the sea surface. The above picture (on the right) is the digital output obtained.
The direction of the schizzes has been estimated by a linear model. The slope 0.441 (s.e. 0.016, pvalue< 0.001) shows that a significant Bora effect occurred. By a Monte Carlo method applied to the convex hull of the schizzes we estimate the area of the plonzo, approximately equals to 12.4 m2. By applying the soliton Korteweg – de Vries partial differential equation  we were able to infer that this schizz displacement was provoked by a wind suffing from 3/8 p rad (i.e. East North East, Bora ciò!) with a instantaneous speed of 97 Km/h. All calculations have been made with the open source R statistical package.
We are still waiting the return a galla of the famous actor. Nevertheless, our novel method in measuring the power of the Bora, albeit a bit trapolèr, results well posed and in good accord with the visual highly scientific Manna scale based on various varianting variables.
