    It is really a compact program, However I would like to include a visit to the Risiera and to the Foiba of Basovizza as well. I guess that it is important to have an idea of the more recent history about this small corner of Italy. Another important aspect concern the local food tradition. If you are starving during the walking into the commercial center of the city (no so far from piazza Unità) a short stop in the osteria “bepi sciavo” is an obligate step.
    Finally don’t forget to visit the places of two masters of the Italian and English literature Italo Svevo and James Joyce

    I feel like the whole tour has too much of a touristy feeling, without any locals’ insights. (like pepi and such)

    I think this is something tourists in Triest would desperately need.
